Learn to feed your body and soul using the ancient system of Ayurveda and stop feeling fed up and confused that the one size approach to modern "diets" is failing you. It's not YOU!

How Would Your Life Look & Feel if You Felt Balanced, Happy, Vibrant and Healthy?

Imagine knowing which foods are best for you based on your individual blueprint and that eating the wrong foods could be contributing to your congestion and insomnia. Think about what you could accomplish with a consistent good night's sleep, feeling refreshed and able to handle whatever life brings your way. You would have the confidence and energy to design the life you truly desire.

In understanding your unique prakriti (constitution) from the Ayurveda perspective, you would know your tendencies and possible pitfalls. For example, why you don't like routines but how they can help you access the unlimited creative potential within you or why balance is crucial to prevent burn out or that variety could really be the spice of your life. Ultimately, you would get off the hamster wheel of trying and ultimately see real and lasting results.

Ayurveda is a personalized and in-depth approach to balancing your body, mind and soul through diet, lifestyle, self-care, yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation, chanting & more!

Ayur stems from the Sanskrit root life. Veda stems from the Sanskrit root wisdom. Ayurveda translates as the science of life. It has been around for over 5,000 years- which means it has stood the test of time and works! Ayurveda is founded on the principle that you are a microcosm of the macrocosm and that dis-ease occurs when you live out of alignment with your natural environment and disconnected to your svadharma (purpose for being here in this lifetime).

The Universe is comprised of the five elements - ether, air, fire, water, earth - and is expressed in you through the three doshas - vata, pitta and kapha. You, as an individual, have a unique prakriti (constitution) that you were born with, based on  a specific combination of the three doshas. When the doshas accumulate, the excess creates an imbalance. This imbalance is said to be your vikriti, the factors that set you up for dis-ease.

Ayurveda & the Three Upastambhas (pillars) of Health

Ahara (food)

The sanskrit word ahara means anything taken into yourself. Ayurveda teaches that the strength of your digestive fire, your agni, is a crucial factor in your overall health. Learn to kindle your digestive fire according to your individual prakriti (constitution), time of the day, season and more.

Nidra (sleep)

Ayurveda teaches that the second pillar of good health is sleep. Sleep helps to balance, heal and restore your body and mind. Improper sleep can compromise your immune system, increase your blood pressure and make it difficult to cope with stress. Establish an evening ritual to get a great night's sleep.

Bramacharya (lifestyle)

The third pillar of health, according to Ayurveda, is a balanced lifestyle. This is one that includes a healthy diet according to your prakriti (constitution), exercise, rasayana (self-care) practices, and loving and intimate relationships. Create healthy routines that maximize the energies of the day & season.
